Since we love both of these guys, I was hoping for joey's solution, which was: Mets win, Micah does an admirable job. Not to be...but he is such a classy, earnest, hardworking player, we love watching him no matter the outcome. For instance, one of his at-bats against Maine was very well-played, for he held on through eleven pitches and then got a walk to first.

By the way, John Maine (who threw a good change-up tonight) looks ten years younger than he does on any baseball card we've ever seen of him!
