There should be more of this...

...she said officiously. Well, but there should. In these Pacific cards, which are widely not liked as far as we can tell, there must have been an actual photo editor participating in baseball card production. For instance, in these four cards, we have one shot and the follow-through. Look at the determination in Mr. Torres' face in mid-pitch above, and then
here's the follow-through. Why, this is almost an action sequence! Any time a card doesn't seem static, that's a tremendous plus. These cards came in a stack from the knowledgable and generous Greg A.

Here Norberto Martin gives it everything he's got...

...but we witness the tragedy of a swing and a miss.

Mitch Williams does not let his gi-normous red shoes slow him down.

Oooof! Baseball aerodynamics! Really, isn't that a great two-shot?

Frank Seminara releases the baseball...

...and then provides some body English,
which we don't see all that often in pitchers.

Now on these cards the back is certainly a continuation of the front. I have a bunch of these 1994 Pacific. I like them. The 5 I have scanned are not like these. The photos on the back are not related to the ones on the front.

These are cool! Great eye, spotting the follow-throughs!
