That's what it is.
Actually, you'd say that if you were Ben Affleck on this past Saturday Night Live doing an uncanny impersonation of Keith Olbermann. In any other circumstance, you might say this was at least an interesting Fairfield repack.
It had pretty rookie cards:

A still-wrapped box of 1990 Upper Deck cards:
A pack from Topps Ireland -- the little George Brett card has the gum permanently affixed to its back; we won't post a picture because it is so horrifying, but here's the little pack (regular sized baseball card behind it for scale):
Look at that hat the American baseball player is wearing on the pack. Have you ever seen a little Topps pack that said "Made by Topps Ireland Ltd., Cork, Ireland" before? Maybe we should get out more.
There were also lots and lots of 2007 Upper Deck cards, including these two fellows who really we ought to invite to Thanksgiving dinner:
The cards are minty fresh. For instance, we've never seen (see above, about needing to get out more) a mint 1989 Bowman card, but there was a nice pack in here:
Sometimes repack boxes make you glad that you don't have one of those crime scene infrared machines because you really, really don't want to know how many people touched the cards before you got to them. Not this one. This is the highly antiseptic version of a Fairfield repack box. Could we have spent 20 bucks more sensibly? Yes. But in regard to baseball cards, that is often the case.

Ha! Called it!
Mario is gonna beg you for that Miller card once he sees it.
Aw, man, I was (-thiiiiiisssss-) close!
So, what was the Memorabilia item? What was the mystery item? We want to KNOW these things!!!
I bought one of those boxes as well. My box had the Carlos Baerga softball game cards. I posted the Frank Thomas card on Things Done To Cards. You don't get to see a baseball players knees too often. In my box the Baerga cards were the special mystery item. The box is kinda nice.
Cliff, we agree, it's a strangely compelling box...even though there was very little in it we actually wanted.
Is that Frank Thomas softball card available?
