Love the Knoblauch! What a shot!!
Whenever I go to a ballgame I always crank up the telephoto lens and try to get some action shots. Usually I end up with a picture of something that happens just before or just after a great play. In the days before digital photography I think that most, if not all, of the great shots on these cards are due to utilizing an autowinder to take a bunch of photos in a short time frame. Of course you still have to point the camera in the right direction, have it in focus, etc. I wonder how much film the photographer went through to get one of these shots? I think my new digital has a feature where I can take a bunch of repeated shots. I'm going to try that at the next game I attend.
By the way, the Knoblauch card looks like a clip from the short baseball instructional film "How to get a groin pull".
