We traded with Daniel of It's Like Having My Own Card Shop--T206 #109, #223, and #289 for these two minis.
The T206 minis are extraordinarily excellent. Aren't they? And, in an unrelated development, we received a mini from the ever-thoughtful Jack (Baseball Dad) of All Tribe Baseball. It's a Dice-K! We suspect this particular mini hails from this particular post.
Note the judicious use by Baseball Dad of blue tape. Not duct tape, which is very dangerous near baseball cards. Nor Scotch, the evils of which we've posted about but the darned search engine won't let us find the post. You're overrated, Google. Blue (or green) painter's tape is the baseball card collector's friend...especially on toploaders and just simply anywhere near cardboard. It comes right off, no stick, no heart attacks, no bother. Blue Tape...in the gentle spirit of the season.
The expression on Daisuke Matsuzaka's face can best be described as1) fierce
2) unforgiving
3) skeptical
4) relaxed
5) self-confident
6) pouty
7) the Blue Tape of Pitching Glares.

Looks like his "gyroball" isn't working for him. That's what that look is.
I agree about the blue tape. I don't even want to get started on the evils of scotch tape, or of those evil soft plastic "card saver" pocket sleeves.
niice, i love the wright mini! and nathan is awesome TTM during the season if you want to risk sending that awesome card to him!
