If you're among those human beans who can get it together enough to send baseball cards for signatures through the mail, this is the best possible time to do so.
Here's a current link to addresses for Cactus League teams. Here's the address link for Grapefruit League teams, including our hapless, flummoxworthy, captivating Mets. Their first game is March 2 in Port St. Lucie
against the Atlanta Braves, Frenchy's former lads. Their last spring training game is with the Orioles on April 3 in Sarasota.
And remember, when sending hope TTM, don't forget the miracle of Forever Stamps--
it won't matter how long the player takes to return your card if you rely on these.
There are eleven ballparks in Arizona. Maybe this year, Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, we'll see you at one of them.

I hope that you're able to make it to a Cactus League game or two. I know I'll be waiting for Opening Day (or more realistically, opening week) before I can get to a game.
I have never done a TTM. Maybe I should give it a try. I'm sure I can pick out a few base cards. I'll have to have a look-see.
We should have mentioned two things about Cactus League: if you go, go EARLY--the first couple games in March, because Arizona quckly gets so unbelievably hot. Also, try to get seating in the shade and that will make the game much more enjoyable.
Getting a seat in the shade is key. If you go in the first week or so count on seeing a lot of guys with numbers above 50. My spring break is from 3/20 through 3/28 so that's when I'll be seeing a game or two.
Spring training would be cool, but I'd want to see some D-Backs, Rays and Marlins regular season games first. But it'd definitely be an experience.
I've contemplated TTMs before but never could decide what to write to the players. I'm a big fan please sign my card just doesn't seem personal enough but much more sounds so stalkerish.
For the first time in a few years I won't be able to make it to any spring training games in Phoenix - our son will only be a couple months old, and it'd be more trouble than it's worth. I'll definitely be sending some TTMs, though! Perhaps I'll return to the desert next year.
I didn't know the Creek nation extended out to yall's neck of the woods.
